Baby Shower Mini

So a while back I posted some pics of a baby shower I decorated. I developed some photos of the shower for my friend and I couldn't help myself I just had to make a mini album. This little book held 25 photos and was very much interactive.

Her theme was Nature/Bird and her shower colors were cream and sage green with a touch of pink. Now anyone who knows me well enough would know that I don't typically do Pink. I prefer more muted tones or vintage purples and Victorian dusty colors if that makes any sense? I have to admit though there are moments where I wonder if the color Pink might be growing on me?...lol. Anyway, here is the mini enjoy!

Meeting Tim Holtz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OMG!!!!!! this July was full of many unexpected surprises and so much fun. I have to be honest though one of my most memorable moments was meeting the one and only Mr. Tim Holtz himself! My local scrapbook store was able to get him to teach for a weekend and although it was the same weekend I was going out of town I made sure to stop by before I left. It was so exciting and I was blown away at how cool and approachable he really is in person. He is one of the nicest people I kid you not.  I made him a little mini album in the shape of a giant ticket and used nothing but Tim Holtz/Ranger products. Unfortunately because I was so excited about being able to give it to him I failed to take any pics of it. After a few back and forth emails with Tim and Mario (who is just as cool by the way) they were kind enough to send me a gift. I just had to share this with my friends at the Island and you can imagine how surprised I was to find out that what he sent me is something you cannot buy anywhere because he only gives them away on special occasions, at shows, cruises or some big event. Knowing this just makes my gift just that much more special to me.

Just a quick little Recap

Hi Everyone!

Its a Saturday night and it might as well be raining outside because I've been stuck at home all day  but at least I was able to get a jump start on my latest artistic en devours and do some catching up on old projects that were never quite finished. I also figured I would do a little recap of some of the things I've been working on during the last few months.

In May I posted some photos of a few dresses and some hair stuff but I never posted the cute little makeup bag I made for a friend.

In June I made a birthday card.

In July I made a few more cards plus I entered my very first card swap and I had so much fun! I received many nice cards in return from some very talented ladies. THANK YOU LADIES!!!

This is the card from my card swap it is a distress shabby chic style tag

Last but not least I do not have a date for this project but it was sometime this spring? I made another adorable dress.

I did my best to get a clear enough photo of the actual dress color which is Navy Blue with mini Gold color flowers all over.
